Moose Knuckle Cabin – Ultimate Privacy
Welcome to Moose Knuckle Cabin! This stunning cabin is situated on a private five-acre property, surrounded by vast expanses of Manistee National Forest land. You won’t see any neighbors here! The cabin features a lovely covered porch, a fire pit, and a charcoal grill for your enjoyment.
Inside, you’ll find a spacious bedroom furnished with a queen bed, and the living area is equipped with a large couch, a futon, and 2 single sleeper cots, accommodating up to six guests comfortably. In case of inclement weather, the cabin is outfitted with a 32-inch flat-screen TV with Direct TV and a selection of DVDs.
This fully furnished cabin comes equipped with a washer and dryer, making it ideal for extended stays. It is conveniently located near Tippy Dam, The Big Manistee River, and Lake Michigan. The property also includes a 20×20 pole barn, which is available for guests to use during lengthy snowmobiling or fishing trips.
Guests are welcome to engage in target shooting from the cabin’s spacious covered porch. The surrounding woods offer opportunities for hunting, bird watching, hiking, and mushroom hunting in the spring. If you prefer being closer to town you may enjoy our Crow’s Nest cabin rental. Hunting – The region offers a variety of game for hunting, including grouse, woodcock, squirrel, whitetail deer, and turkey. Both bow and gun hunting options are available.
Winter Sports – This area is rapidly becoming popular for snowmobiling. Downhill skiing can be enjoyed at Crystal Mountain or Caberfae Ski Resorts, while the Big M Cross Country Ski Area offers excellent cross-country skiing opportunities. Snowmobile trails are accessible directly from the cabin!
Spring and Summer – The region is one of the best for Morel Mushroom hunting. Additionally, it offers great opportunities for hiking and canoeing.
Rentals and Trails – Canoe and kayak rentals are available within a 7-mile radius. ATV and the North Country Hiking trails are also nearby. Cross-country skiing and snowshoeing can be experienced at Big M, and snowmobile rentals can be arranged.
